Talk about a Hollywood story, this property’s past has been filled with twists, turns and finally renovation redemption.

Meghan Trainor is the proud new owner of Bing Crosby’s one-time, stunning home located in Toluca Lake, a wealthy area just outside of Los Angeles proper, according to the Los Angeles Times.

But the 22-year-old millionaire singer is only able to call the house home as it is the site of an epic tale of love and loss – both emotional and finical.

Sad turn of events: On the season premiere of Flipping Out on Wednesday night, Jeff revealed that the loss of over $1 million was a significant finical blow to his company

Bare floors: But that was nothing compared to the economic slam that Megan and Brian – who have since reconciled and are expecting a baby – took

Loss: The couple had bought the historical home in 2014 for $3.35 million and had already spent money gutting the home and transforming its exterior when they called it quits

This, of course, was a major red flag that there was trouble in paradise, with the Hollywood pair announcing their split that April.

On the season premiere of Flipping Out on Wednesday night, Jeff revealed that the loss of over $1 million was a significant finical blow to his company.

But that was nothing compared to the economic slam that Megan and Brian – who have since reconciled and are expecting a baby – took.

Gone: With a gutted property – which had also suffered a minor flood – on their hands, the pair took a bath with the LA times reporting they sold the home in an off-market deal in December last year for just $2.6 million

All new: The purchaser obviously has an eye for making a property killing when Hollywood marriages go bad as they quickly completed the renovation and made themselves a pretty penny

Room to move around: This room includes plenty of shelves and cabinets as well as a skylight

Fit for a large family: Every room is huge with floor to ceiling windows and new wood floors

Even the closets are gargantuan: This walk in closet is larger than some New York City apartments

Hard hit: On the season premiere of Flipping Out on Wednesday night, Jeff revealed that the loss of over $1 million was a significant finical blow to his company

After fixing up the ranch-style home, it was sold to Megan in another off-market deal for $4.9 million.

But the All About That Bass singer does not have to feel like she overpaid, as her new home is one for the books.

When Megan and Brian purchased it, the property was far more rustic with natural wood ceilings, dark tile floors and a dark cabinet kitchen featuring an Australian opal stone counter.

Quick back: The developers turned the property from a fixer upper (pictured) into a stunning home selling to Meghan for $4.9 million – more than $2 million than they paid

The new Meghan on the block gets something much more light and bright with the property given a chic but rustic update making by Todd DeMann and David Kramer of Paradigm Developers so it is part farmhouse and party Hollywood Hills gem.

Gone are the dark floors replaced with plank wood floors, and the natural wood ceiling is now white with the exposed beams and large wrought-iron chandeliers adding the rustic glamour.

The kitchen is now more of a focal point of the open plan living area with lighter green and white cabinets and striking white marble counter tops and centre-island.

The fireplace is also gone too to make way for a built-in media and storage centre.

The home, which is surrounded in new green grass and old olive and oak trees, has plenty of room for the 22-year-old singer as it has over 6,700-square-feet of living space with four bedrooms and four baths.

There is also a separate guest house which sits on the home’s large block which still oozes old Hollywood charm thanks to its long curving driveway.

Didn’t have wow factor: The 2008 renovation featured a dark cabinet kitchen featuring an Australian opal stone counter that was a little cut off from the living area

First to go: Prior to their split, Meghan and Brian had commissioned Jeff to change the previous pool area (pictured). The new developers did, however, have to lay all new sod and do new landscaping

The pool and spa which the Fox/Austin-Greens had Jeff update also remain and will be the perfect place for Meghan to tan her much sung about curves.

Meghan can also soak up the property’s musical history as the great Bing Crosby had the home built back in 1936.

While the home itself has changed – Bing had a carriage home constructed on the land – no doubt just knowing he had sung a ditty or two on the grounds should be inspiration enough.
